Hitting the big 3-0 is a huge milestone in a woman’s life. It’s a great opportunity to self-evaluate, appreciate your memories, and come up with a plan for the next three decades.

If you’re approaching this significant mile marker on the road of life, here are 30 things you should consider doing before you say goodbye to your 20s:

  1. Stop comparing your worst to other people’s best on social media. Unfollow anybody on Instagram that doesn’t make you feel better about yourself.
  2. Spend an afternoon cuddling with your babies. They won’t be small for forever, so hold them close and forget about your to-do list for a while.
  3. Forgive the person who has caused you the most pain. Holding a grudge hurts you far more than it hurts them. Release yourself from that pain.
  4. Come up with a plan to pay off your student loans – and stick to it.
  5. Pursue your dream job. If you don’t enjoy what you do, it’s not too late to change. (In fact, it’s the best time to change.) Get out there and do something you actually love.
  6. Ask your grandma for her best cookie recipe and learn to make them with your kids.
  7. Thank your friends for being there for you. Cause, frankly, that helped you survive your twenties, and they deserve a little gratitude.
  8. Get in the picture. Out of the 500 pictures you took last month, how many of them were you in? Make sure that you get in the shot every once in a while.
  9. Invest in a really good vacuum. You’re always going to need one, and you might as well get a nice one that’ll last for a while.
  10. Ask your mom what she’s learned from being a parent. Write down her every word.
  11. Stop drinking soda, because it’s just not good for you.
  12. Find another couple who you admire and can help guide and mentor you through your marriage and parenthood.
  13. Stop caring about what people think about you. Be comfortable with who you are without worrying too much about your friend or co-worker’s opinions.
  14. Spend quality alone time with your in-laws to help get to know them better. Ask them about your spouse and the memories they have of their childhood.
  15. Get organized. Get rid of anything you’ve been holding on to that you just don’t need or use anymore.
  16. Go on a romantic getaway with your spouse. Between work and kids, you probably don’t have a lot of time for each other, so make the time.
  17. Track your physical activity. Get a fitness tracker to help you get motivated to work out – or at least get a few thousand steps in per day. A little exercise goes a long way.
  18. Buy a nice, expensive outfit that makes you feel like a million bucks.
  19. Accept failure as an opportunity to grow. Don’t allow setbacks keep you from being successful.
  20. Take a few Saturday afternoons to write down every memory you have from your life.
  21. Break at least one bad habit. We all have them, and they all need to go at some point or another.
  22. Put your spouse first. Invest in that relationship as much as you can, because your husband should be your top priority.
  23. Make it a habit to call your mom once a week. Even if it’s just few minutes, it will mean the world to her.
  24. Learn to trust your instincts. You have lots of experience under your belt – don’t doubt yourself. You have the power to make the right decisions.
  25. Start contributing to your 401K. Even if retirement feels like it’s 100 years away, it’ll come much faster than you think. Prepare for the future!
  26. Understand that things don’t buy happiness. They never have, and they never will.
  27. Take buying a house seriously. If you don’t already own one, start making future plans for obtaining one.
  28. Archive all of the files on your computer. You’ll be really sad if you lose all of your photos one day. (Check out Yours.co, and we’ll do it for you.)
  29. Write down every single birthday, anniversary or important date for every person in your family, so that you never forget.
  30. Tell anyone that matters to you just how much you love them.
